Ex-LNWR 2-4-2T 1P Precursor tank No 46654 stands on shed whilst ex-MR 0-6-0 2F No 58217 and ex-LMS 2-6-2T 3MT No 40205 wait at the branch signals

Ex-LNWR 2-4-2T 1P No 46654 stands on shed whilst ex-MR 0-6-0 2F No 58217 and ex-LMS 2-6-2T 3MT No 40205 wait at the branch signals on the Leamington branch and the coach sidings respectively on 20th May 1953. Built at Crewe works in June 1893 to a Webb design it became LMS No 6654 and remained in service until September 1953 when it was withdrawn from nearby sister shed Warwick at Milverton for scrapping immediately by Crewe works.

Ex-MR 2F No 58217 was designed by SW Johnson as a member of the Midland Railway's 1357 class and was built by Beyer Peacock in December 1883. After being given the LMS No 3096 it remained in service until October 1959 when as No 58217 it was withdrawn from Barrow-in-Furness shed for scrapping at Derby works. Ex- LMS No 40205 was built at Derby works in March 1938 as LMS No 205 and remained in service until October 1962 when it was withdrawn from and stored at Bangor shed until scrapped during January 1963 by Crewe works.
