Ex-LMS 4-6-0 Black 5 No 44815 on an up semi-fast express pulls into the up platform on a sunny day in the late 1950s. Number 44815 was built at Derby works in November 1944 and remained in service until the last year of stem being withdrawn from Trafford Park shed in February 1968 to be scrapped by G Cohen of Kettering in June 1968.
