Ex-LMS 2-8-0 8F No 48716 is seen at the head of a special load - a large girder for a railway bridge - as it enters the Leamington branch. Built as LNER No 3511 at Brighton works in July 1944 it was renumbered by British Railways as No 48716 and remained in service until August 1965 when it was withdrawn from Lostock Hall shed and scrapped during January 1966 by Bird's of Bynea near Llanelly.
