Ex-LMS 4-6-0 Jubilee class 5XP No 45694 'Bellerophon' is seen standing at Coventry station's new platform three on a down Euston to Birmingham express circa 1962. Standing in platform four is an English Electric Type 4 diesel at the head of express passenger train. Built as LMS No 5694 at Crewe works to Lot 292 in March 1936 it remained in service until January 1967 when it was withdrawn from Wakefield to be scrapped during June 1967 by Drapers Ltd of Hull.
