Coventry Station - BR Locomotives: lnwrcov225

BR Standard 4-6-0 5MT No 73115 'King Pellinore' is seen entering Coventry station's new platform three as it comes off the Leamington branch. The station is under going its final evolution with the overhead gantries now built but yet to receive the overhead wires. Number 73115 was built at Doncaster works in November 1956, receiving its name in January 1960 at Eastliegh, and lasted only a very short time in service being withdrawn in March 1967 from Guildford shed to be scrapped in November 1967 by J Cashmore of Newport.
