A grimy ex-LMS 4-6-0 unnamed Patriot class No 45517 is seen passing at speed through Coventry with an up express service. Rebuilt from a LNWR Claughton at Crewe works in February 1933 No 5517 remained in service until June 1962 when it was withdrawn from Bank Hall shed in Liverpool to be scrapped during July 1962 by Crewe works.
