LNWR 2-4-2T No 1148 stands on the up through line beneath the footbridge in Coventry station circa 1910. Built by Crewe works in April 1894, No 1148 was renumbered as No 6694 by the LMS in January 1928 which it retained until April 1936 when it was withdrawn from service.
