Looking towards the Rugby end of the up platform's concourse and the steps to the footbridge to the down platform as seen on 10th April 1953. The steps advertise on alternative risers 'Triumph Cycles' and 'Triumph Motor Cycles' illustrating that the company evolved from 'push bikes' to motor bikes. The two timetable display boards on the left displayed information on Bletchley, Northampton and Nottingham Districts and London Euston to Crewe respectively. The photographer's bag and cup of tea are sat on top of the indicator board whilst an impressive pair of plus fours can be seen below the timetable displayboards.
