View of the Birmingham end of the up platform's concourse taken after British Railways corporate signs have been erected as seen on 8th November 1954. The trolleys would access the parcels depot via the double doors on the right between the Left Luggage and Station Master's office. The two posters at the far end show on the left, the new British Railways' London Midland routes and on the right, London Transport's Underground map.
