View showing the two main entrances to the station's up platform and with the booking office door in between as seen on 10th April 1953. The station master's office is to the right and out of sight of this view. The booking hall was higher than the roof of the booking office as can be seen through the nearest 'scissor' gate. Normally only one gate was open except when large volumes of passengers were entering or exiting the station.
