View of the main entrance of Coventry station and the canopy devoid of glazing and showing the traffic signs on 10th April 1953. The 'OUT' sign remain as before although the 'IN' sign mounted on the column under the 'DRIVE SLOWLY' sign has been removed. Its not known as to whether the 'IN' sign at the other of the canopy still remained. It is assumed that the increase of motorised traffic led to the LMS introducing a more sweeping turn round. Despite this a car has still driven in to the station from the wrong direction.
