View of two wagon turntables demonstrating how wagons could be directed along tracks at oblique angles. The turntable furthest away from the photographer is located at a junction of two sidings which are set approximately at 150° to each other as well as connecting to another turntable. The same turntable has a turntable stop key located at 180° to each other with the right hand one engaged to prevent the turntable from moving when the wagon moves on to the siding. Behind this turntable a dumb capstan is evident.
