A second view from the New Canal Street end of the warehouse looking towards the sidings

A second view from the New Canal Street end of the warehouse looking towards the sidings on 25th September 1938. The sidings to this side of the shed were still known as the 'Cattle Sidings' despite the fact they had been moved many years previous, it was just another way for people to memorise areas of the site. A number of signs hang down from the roof. On the left is a sign for trolley drivers to 'Keep to the Left'. To its right and higher is a sign which warned 'Beware Foodstuffs'. To their right hang a number of destination signs, the first stating 'Road Van Peterborough' whilst others to its right read 'Northampton', 'Banbury', and Blisworth'. According to Richard Foster other signs read 'Stoke', Stone', 'Great Bridge', 'Albion', 'Spon Lane' and 'Oldbury'.
