An interior view of the Fruit shed looking towards the main line in 1966 with the new parcels concentration depot on the right. The wagon turntable is still evident as are the two dummy capstans, both of which are heavily grooved after years of ropes being pulled around them. Beyond the cut out in the deck for the turntable, the original platform has been extended by the simple means of a timber frame supporting planking running parallel with the siding. A fixed position hydraulically powered crane stands on the edge of the original platform.
