An Edison battery powered electric three-ton goods lorry, Fleet No 65BE registration number 6828 in September 1918. The ladies, wearing the same style of clothing as the others in the procession, are promoting greater efficiencies to save labour. The side of the former Grand Junction Railway station can be seen in the background. A number of other motorised vehicles can be seen on the right in the background.
