View of Daimler Halt looking along the up platform towards Sandy Lane road bridge and Nuneaton in the early 1960s. The Daimler, later Jaguar works were to the left of the bridge and further down the line. The covered passenger accommodation was very basic and by the 1950s in a poor state of repair. Passengers leaving and entering the down platform (on the right) had to present their tickets to the porter who resided in one of the little huts seen in the distance. Mark Percival writes, 'access to the up platform was by way of steps at the end leading up to the left of the road bridge'.
