Close up of image 'lnwrdh118' showing the steps from Sandy Lane down to the Halt's up platform and the two ticket collector's boxes. Although not visible in this photograph steps also existed on the down platform although whether there was a ticket collector's box is unknown. Passengers leaving and entering the platform had to present their tickets to the porter who resided in one of the little huts seen in the distance. The ticket collector was timed to be at the station only at the beginning and of the factory's shift(s).
