LMS Route: Nuneaton to Coventry

Daimler Halt: lnwrdh3390

A 1937 Ordnance Survey map showing the location of Daimler Halt after it opened in March 1917. Access to the Halt was only provided from Sandy Lane as this was nearest to the Daimler factory. The two sets of steps from each platform can easily be seen although the ticket clerk's boxes are not visible. This might be because the Ordnance Survey surveyors regarded these structures as temporary.
