An Edwardian view looking towards Weeden showing in the distance a train approaching the single line platform which is seen on the left. The Station master was a Mr Trigger who is seen posing for the camera at the door of his office at Flecknoe Station. The station only required the one platform as no passing loop had been installed although, as can be seen above, the line had throughout its length been constructed to allow the laying of a second track. Flecknoe station was provided with a short goods siding with head shunt as can be seen above.

The oil lamps were of the same pattern as those seen at Napton & Stockton albeit the brackets were of a different type. The presence of the raised roof light at the far end of the station building indicates the location of the gent's toilets. At the far end of the platform is a hut with peak roof at right angles to the track. The hut is thought to have been used as part of the goods and parcel service, the access to the goods yard being at the end of the platform.
