A 1934 aerial view of Foleshill station's extended platform and its signal cabin seen on the right. The bridge was built at the expense of the City which is why a substantial set of steps has been erected using concrete. If the railway had been liable for the expense then a timber set of steps, if anything, would have been suffice.
