LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Harborne

An external view of the single storey structure taken from Station Road shortly before the passenger train service ceased in 1934. The large poster board to the left is clearly headed LMS, and gives details of the services which would continue to run to and from Birmingham New Street. Two poster boards can also be seen either side of the entrance which also appear to be headed LMS whilst all the other advertising is proprietary, marketing products such as Players Cigarettes, Bovril drink, Melox Dog food and Virol supplements and natural laxatives.
