An external view of the former passenger station taken on 2nd November 1963 just prior to its demolition. The design of the station's short canopy is clearly illustrated in this side view. On the right in the gable end wall is the door to the former gentlemen's toilet. At the very end of the access road are iron railings which segregated pedestrians using the steel passenger footbridge.
