the signals controlling the up and down lines. The frame accommodated 22 levers
which on 29th June 1936 was noted as having three spaces being spare; No 4, 20
and 22. This arrangement had changed by the time the signal cabin was
decommissioned, it was then noted that No 4 and 20 had been used to place
detonators on the up and down lines (used primarily during foggy weather)
whilst No 22 remained spare but with Numbers 14, 15, 16 and 17 becoming spare
too.
