On the up line can be seen two signals, the furthest away is an upper quadrant signal controlling traffic in the up direction, whilst the nearer signal, with its arm pointing in the opposite direction, is controlling traffic reversing from the up line on to the 'passing loop' line in order to enter the goods yard.
