Close up of image 'lnwrhia392' showing the Midland Railway Signal Box located in the vee of the two lines to Whitacre. The signal box was subsequently downgraded to a ground frame as can be seen in image 'lnwrhiaj2987'. The line in front of the signal box led to the goods yard as well as rejoining the branch at the point where 'Old Station Road' passed beneath the Whitacre branch.
