LMS Route: Hampton in Arden to Whitacre

The front of the original B&DJR station as seen from Old Station Road with the remains of the cattle dock on the left. The masts for electrification have been erected but the insulated arms and wires have yet to be installed placing the date as mid 1960s. The large lap on the right would appear to confirm that the building was oil lit for most of, if not all, of its life.
