LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Harborne

Ex-LNWR 2-4-2T No 46757 is seen at the head of a two-coach SLS special to Harborne on 3rd June 1950. The sharp curve required a check rail to be fitted to the rail seen on the left. After the line had crossed the canal the railway immediately then passed beneath Northbrook Street near to its junction with Coplow Street.
