Close up of image 'lnwrhr65' showing Hagley Road station's modified main station building and the extra timber passenger waiting room. The canopy has been extendedin width to project further out over the platform. However its by no means certain from this one photograph whether the canopy extended the full length of the building. The timber building is clearly a passenger waiting room - the paved area in front of the main building has been extended to its doorway - although the lack of a chimney would seem to indicate that the railway was moreinterested in keeping passengers dry than warm. The station sign on the right would appear to be the same seen in image 'lnwrhr66c' but the LNWR style advertising posterboard has definitely been moved forward and in line with the station sign.
