LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Harborne

LMS 0-6-0 No 21006 emerges from beneath Icknield Port Road bridge with a goods train for Hagley Road and Harborne stations in 1949. On the left of the locomotive is the inclined pathway that provided access for passengers. Competition from the trams and buses meant the station became unremunerative and therefore it was closed on 18th May 1931.
