Marton Junction pictured with the Honingham Hill Road Bridge spanning the actual junction on 2nd June 1984. The line to Southam Cement Works can be seen diverging to the right, while straight on leads to Rugby. Incoming trains would have to run round using the loop in the foreground. Although not officially closed at this time, the state of the track indicated it was a long time since a train had passed this way.
