Ex-LNWR 2-4-2T 5ft 6in Tank engine No 46654 is seen on a Rugby to Leamington service on 17th May 1952. This is the first of three photographs taken at the junction showing No 46654 going to and from Leamington. The smokebox door shows the paint has been burnt off showing there is or has been an issue with the ashes not being ejected, most likely through poor draughting. Built as LNWR No 2130 in September 1893, it was to be renumbered by the LMS in August 1928 as No 6654 and again by British Railways in December 1948 which it carried until September 1953 when it was withdrawn from 2C Warwick Shed.
