Ex-LMS 4-6-0 5MT No 44914 is seen on the up goods line as it passes the carriage sidings on 27th June 1955. The photographer is looking towards Wolverhampton with the Birmingham Navigations Canal on the left behind the six foot fence. In the distance is Harborne Junction signal cabin and beyond this, the overbridge carrying Dudley Road over the railway and canal. Built as LMS No 4914 by Crewe works in December 1945 No 44914 was to remain in service until August 1967 when it was withdrawn from 9F Heaton shed on the Mersey.
