The ladies waiting room is entered by the door in front of which the stationmaster is standing. Inside the waiting room was a toilet, ladies being privileged more than men as their urinal was accessed from outside via a door in the building’s end elevation. The elevated tank on the right was to provide a sufficient head of water for the urinals inside.
