Looking towards Nuneaton station with the shed yard on the left, in the centre Nuneaton No 1 Signal Box and on the right the carriage sidings. In the distance is Leicester Road bridge which was located a short distance from Nuneaton station. In the yard are three locomotives, an LMS 0-6-0T 3F 'Jinty' nearest the main line and two 0-6-0 locomotives, one of which Peter Lee says is of ex-Lancashire and Yorkshire origin. A number of these locomotives were to be found at Nuneaton as they were ideally suited for tackling the steeply graded Arley Colliery line and the Ansley Hall branch. C1933
