British Railways 4-6-2 Class 7MT No 70048 'The Territorial Army 1908-1958' is seen passing through the station on an up express service on 13th August 1964. Built at Crewe in July 1954 No 70048, named in July 1958 at Euston, was to have a very short working life being withdrawn in May 1967 from 12A Kingmoor shed in Carlisle to be scrapped in October 1967 by J McWilliam & Sons of Shettleston.
