LMS Princess Coronation Class 4-6-2 No 6226 'Duchess of Norfolk' on the up Royal Scot express in August 1938. Built by Crewe works in May 1938 No 6226 was to remain in service, albeit without the streamlining, until September 1964 when it was withdrawn from 12B Upperby shed.
