Ex-LNWR 2P 4-6-0 Experiment Class No 5491 'Prince George' stands outside Nuneaton shed on 24th October 1933. On the right is a part view of ex-LNWR 4P 4-6-0 Prince of Wales Class No 2198 'John Ruskin'. Prince George was built originally as LNWR 1135 before gaining its LMS number in March 1927 which it carried until June 1934 when it was withdrawn from service. John Ruskin was originally built in November 1913 as LNWR No 2198 and was renumbered by the LMS in April 1927 as No 5491 which it carried until March 1936 when it too was withdrawn from service.
