Ex-LMS 5XP 4-6-0 No 45541 'Duke of Sutherland' is seen being turned on the shed's powered turntable. Designed by Sir Henry Fowler, No 45541 was a member of the Patriot Class initially known to footplate as 'Baby Scots' because they were a combination of the large boiler used on the rebuilt LNWR Claughtons but fitted to the chassis of the Royal Scot Class. Built by Crewe works in August 1933, No 45541 was to remain in service until May 1962 when it was withdrawn from 2B Nuneaton shed.
