Ex-Midland Railway 3F 0-6-0 No 58240 is seen standing on one of the roads next to the stationary boiler on 15th March 1953. A member of the MR's 1698 Class No 58240 was built by Derby works in January 1886 and was renumbered by the LMS as No 3161 before being renumbered in 1948 by British Railways as No 58240 which it carried until May 1953 when it was withdrawn from 2B Nuneaton shed.
