Ex-LMS 5MT 4-6-0 No 44780 is seen standing alongside Nuneaton Shed fully serviced ready for another trip. Built by Crewe works in July 1947, No 44780 was to remain in service until June 1968 when it was withdrawn from 9D Newton Heath shed to be scrapped by Cohens of Cargo Fleet.
