LMS Route: Nuneaton to Leamington

British Railways built Stanier Black Five 4-6-0 No 44680 passes beneath Leicester Road with a down Type 3 express freight working on 13th August 1964. Built by Horwich works in June 1950, No 44680 was fitted with Skefco roller bearings as an experiment and retained these until September 1967 when it was withdrawn from 5B Crewe South shed to be scrapped by G Cohen of Kettering.
