Ex-LMS 8P Coronation Class 4-6-2 No 46248 'City of Leeds' passes by platform 4 on an up Type 3 working on 6th August 1964. Built in streamlined form by Crewe works in October 1943, No 46248 was to remain in service until September 1964 when it was withdrawn from 5A Crewe North shed to be scrapped by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
