British Railways built Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0 No 46512 is seen with another class member on shed on 15th May 1966 whilst on the left is 350hp Diesel Shunter No 12047. Built by Swindon works in December 1952, No 46512 was to remain in service only until December 1966 when it was withdrawn from 5B Crewe South to be scrapped. Diesel shunter No 12047 was built at Derby works in August 1948 and remained in service until January 1969 when it was withdrawn from 5A Crewe shed to be scrapped by J Cashmore's of Great Bridge.
