LMS Route: Nuneaton to Leamington

LNWR 4-6-0 'Bill Bailey' No 1414 outside the shed between September 1904 and January 1915 when the locomotive was withdrawn. Intended for a mixed traffic role the design was essentially a reconfigured version of a Class B compound 0-8-0 with different wheel arrangement. Thirty were built starting in 1903 with the first being withdrawn in 1913, with several more following during the First World War, cannibalised to keep Class Bs running, and none survived to the grouping of 1923 as the last was withdrawn in 1921.
