Looking towards the eight road shed with the main line to Rugby on the left and the branch line to Coventry on the right. In essence the shed provided two main services, the stabling of the locomotives including associated maintenance and the preparation and disposal of the locomotives. To the right of the shed and out of view of the camera was the coaling plant, ash plant and turntable. 25th April 1954
