Rugby Station - BR Period Locomotives: lnwrrm1022

Ex-MR 2F 0-6-0 No 58218 pauses between pilot duties showing heavy water staining on its Belpaire firebox on 4th June 1960. Number 58218 was a member of the MR's 1357 class and was built by Beyer Peacock to order number 2197 in December 1883 and lasted in service until July 1962 when it was withdrawn from Toton shed circa-1962 for scrapping by Derby works.
