Rugby Shed: lnwrrm1035

Ex-LNWR 4-6-0 'Prince of Wales class' No 25665 'Suvla Bay' is seen outside the shed on 31st March 1935. Built as LNWR No 233 by Crewe works, No 25665 was named in March 1916 and then later renumbered by the LMS first as No 5665 and then 25665 before being withdrawn in April 1936 to be scrapped by Crewe works. The duplicate list was created by adding 20,000 to the numbers of locomotives whose numbers were required for the new Patriot and Jubilees Classes.
