Rugby No 1 signal cabin's track diagram showing the lines controlled by colour light signals and by semaphore signals. The solid lines are the tracks being controlled by upper quadrant semaphore signals being secondary lines used by goods traffic, locomotives travelling to and from the sheds and the branch line to Peterborough. Rugby No 1 signal cabin needed to communicate with the adjacent cabins, No 4 for the down goods, No 2 for the down through and the down platform, No 5 for the up and down engine line, No 3 for the up platform, up through and the up goods. Note on the bottom right evidence of the horse landing dock.
