Looking north towards Rugby No 5 signal cabin and the wooden bridge carrying pedestrians over the railway. The photographer is standing towards the end of a single siding which ran parallel with the down goods (seen on the right) which allowed freight traffic to pass through the station without hindering passenger traffic. The second line on the right is the through road for passenger traffic.
