Part of the two chain survey dated circa 1905 showing the approaches to Rugby from both Leicester and Birmingham. To the right of the wooden bridge (LNWR No 278) are a number of small buildings one of which is the MR's Rugby Signal Cabin identifiable by the steps leading off to the left. The complexity of the trackwork seen in both the approach roads and sidings is clearly evident in this survey.
